Repair, restoration and service of synthesizers and music electronics
For 20 years, I have been involved with music electronics on a daily basis and have turned my passion for synthesizers into my profession as a musician, author and technician.
Together with my wife, we run a service workshop for electronic musical instruments and studio equipment. We are the place to go for musicians, studios, collectors and museums from all over the world.
Our focus lies on the maintenance, servicing, repair and modification of synthesizers, sequencers, drum machines, effects processors, tape echoes, guitar amplifiers and microphone amplifiers (both tube and transistor) as well as high-quality studio equipment, especially from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
Our services include appraisals, fault diagnosis, repair, maintenance, restoration, modification and customization, midification, battery replacement, firmware updates, production of eproms, manufacture of obsolete components such as filter chips or adapter boards as well as sales and rental of vintage musical instruments.
We work independently of manufacturers and can usually accept and repair any instrument.
Our heart beats particularly for the vintage instrument classics of the Japanese manufacturer Roland.
We offer a reliable in-house service – this includes personal communication with easy accessibility, secure processing with delivery note, cost estimate, invoice, warranty, documentation of the work, secure packaging and a reliable transport service.
We have been working with a reliable overnight courier service for many years and offer a pick-up and delivery service including a suitable flight case or packaging.
In special cases, we offer personal collection and delivery in German-speaking countries.
Delivery and pick-up by the customer from our workshop is possible by arrangement (and in compliance with the current restrictions).
The delivery as well as the return shipment can of course also be carried out using the common shipping companies.
We ship worldwide.
Our workshop is located in Bernau (Chiemgau), situated on the idyllic Chiemsee between Munich and Salzburg and is easy to reach via the A8 autobahn.
A personal delivery and pick-up can be combined with a stopover and outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming or a delicious restaurant visit.
Our prices are calculated for each individual case on an hourly basis.
A cost estimate is provided after receipt and inspection of the device.
We always strive to offer a sound and fair overall package and communicate all work steps with our customers.
We look forward to working with you.
